The Ed Foundation’s purpose is to raise funds from private sources to improve the Rockport School System for our students. Our focus is to finance programs that will enhance and augment the education of students currently enrolled in Rockport Public Schools. By investing in the students of Rockport, the entire community benefits. Your dollars will go directly towards the technologies and programs desperately needed to keep pace with and prepare our students for a constantly changing world.
Through the generosity of our donors, the Foundation has been able to commit $34,300 to this year’s projects. But we still need your help. Our goal is to continue to direct our funding to new, innovative initiatives that have the potential to be taken over by the school budget, such as the Strings Program, which has expanded from the 4th-5th grades to the high school, and is now receiving limited budget funding from the Foundation.
